“Razmišljao sam o tome kakvi su muškarci bili kada sam ja bio dečak, jaki muškarci koji se nisu izvinjavali zbog svoje muškosti. Želeo sam to da vratim – miris zrele osobe 70-tih i 80-tih godina – pića, cigareta, kože, losiona posle brijanja, paba – to je poput putovanja kroz vreme. Ovakav muškarac se zaustavlja u svom Ford Capri-ju, nosi kožnu jaknu, ima dlakava prsa koja se vide zbog raskopčane košulje i nosi zlatni lanac. Pivo u ruci, paklica Bensons cigareta, opušten i inteligentan sa okom za dame i osobinom nepromišljenosti, ali častan, znate – pravi džentlmen, samouveren, ali i pravi šarmer – svi žele da budu u njegovom društvu, ali mu pogled u oku govori da ne biste poželeli da ga prevarite. To je pravi, intenzivan muški miris – asertivan, moćan, vrsta koju nosi muškarac koji ima neraščišćene račune, ali tek nakon što završi pivo”. Ricki Hall.

United KingdomIt all started in a small English kitchen, where Richie Finney, a longtime film technician, mixed the first mustache waxes in an old bean can. His intention was simple, he just wanted to make a product that really works, not realizing that a brand that would conquer the world would emerge from that improvised workshop.
His wife, an Emmy- and BAFTA-winning makeup artist, wore these waxes to film shoots, where they quickly attracted the attention of actors and colleagues. Interest grew, and from the hobby Captain Fawcett was born, a brand inspired by the spirit of the English gentleman and adventurer who never loses his manners, regardless of the circumstances.
The myth of the lost Captain Peabody Fawcett, whose “rediscovered” diaries and recipes inspired the products, gave the brand an authentic and recognizable identity. Richie has combined British humour, elegance and craftsmanship, creating products that have soul.
The Captain Fawcett Emporium in Norfolk is currently the largest museum of barbershop exhibits in the world.
